The NDIS is complicated! You don’t have to be alone.

This article is a quick read about what Support Coordination is and what it can do for you.

What can a Support Coordinator do for me?

  • Help you understand your NDIS plan

  • Connect you to local supports

  • Help you build your NDIS plan and goals

  • Help fill out applications for specialized supports

  • Help you get your first NDIS plan

  • Advocate for you to the NDIS

  • Much more!

Can I get a Support Coordinator?

The short answer is: YES!

Everyone can request a Support Coordinator through their NDIS plan. You might already have a budget or might need help requesting this. This is where a Support Coordinator can help.

Can I change my Support Coordinator?

If you are not happy with your current Support Coordinator, you can change at any time!

Make sure your Support Coordinator is the right fit for you.

You can either contact the NDIS for a change of Support Coordinator, or approach one yourself.

What if I don’t have funding for a Support Coordinator?

You have options!

You can either request this from the NDIS yourself, or have an advocate help you with this process. This can either happen at the start of your plan, or anytime throughout.

A Support Coordinator can help you with this too!
